More About Me

Roots in Port Townsend

Growing up in Seattle, my family would spend long weekends in Port Townsend at my great-grandmother’s tiny cabin on Beckett Point. Port Townsend was our sweet refuge from the busy city, a chance for me to explore the woods and connect to my family’s roots. In 2000, we decided to make a permanent move to Port Townsend and I haven’t looked back. Extensive travel has taken me around the world, but I’ve yet to find another place I’d rather call home!

Early Work Experience

My working life has taken me from being a small business owner, to designing and managing a craft cocktail bar, to guiding tours in Paris, and even to commercial fishing in Alaska. I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to engage in work that has taught me the importance of building trusting relationships, creative problem solving, attention to detail, and clear communication. I'm proud of the local connections and deep friendships I've formed from serving my community in varied capacities for over 15 years.

Becoming a Homeowner

In 2019, my partner and I purchased our first home. The phrase “fixer-upper” was an understatement! We began what became an extensive remodel and with it, my interest in real estate, design, and construction reached new heights. Through my very hands-on experience, I came to understand that home is so much more than the roof over our heads. I know the importance of having compassionate, competent support through what, for many of us, is one of the biggest decisions and transitions of our lives.

Giving Back

I believe everyone deserves equitable access to safe and affordable housing.

I'm an active volunteer with the Housing Solutions Network, an organization dedicated to increasing the availability of affordable workforce housing in Jefferson County.

I assist with outreach for the Community Build Project, a grassroots movement to build emergency shelters for the unhoused residents of our community.

I serve on the board of REPAH (Real Estate Professionals for Affordable Housing). REPAH helps low-income homeowners make much needed repairs to their homes.

2022 Board Secretary for Jefferson County Association of Realtors.

I really love donating my time and resources to non-profits that help my community thrive. Ask me for more info on any of these organizations!

Let's work together to get you where you want to be!
