I've been fortunate to call Port Townsend home for more than 25 years. After many childhood weekends spent exploring the nearby beaches and woods around my great-grandmother's cabin on Beckett Point, my family relocated from Seattle when I was twelve. Although travel has taken me around the world, I've yet to find another community that matches the beauty, character, and sense of belonging found in Port Townsend and the Olympic Peninsula.
Before entering real estate, my work took many forms- from owning a retail store to designing and managing a craft cocktail bar, guiding tours in Paris, and commercial fishing in Alaska. These experiences taught me the importance of building trusting relationships, creative problem solving, attention to detail, and clear communication. I'm proud of the deep friendships and local connections I've formed from serving my community in varied capacities over the years. Since transitioning to real estate in 2020, It's been a privilege to provide compassionate, competent support through what, for many of us, is one of the biggest decisions and transitions of our lives.
In 2019, my partner and I purchased our first home. The phrase "fixer-upper" was an understatement! What began as a modest renovation quickly grew into a hands-on, extensive remodel, sparking a deeper interest in real estate, design, and construction.
In the years since, we've completed an addition on our home and are currently building an ADU. These projects have given me practical insight into renovation timelines, construction costs, and the often involved process of working with local government agencies and tradespeople. I love helping clients imagine what might be possible for a property and connecting them with trusted local professionals who can help bring those ideas to life.
To me, real estate is ultimately about relationships. I believe in listening carefully, communicating honestly, and building enduring trust. I view my role as one of service and guidance rather than sales, helping clients make informed decisions that feel right for them. Whether your purchasing your first home, selling a longtime property, exploring land or development opportunities, or pursuing a commercial venture, I'm here to serve as your steady advocate and trusted guide throughout the process.
